Ban on old vehicles still continues in Delhi. No relief of any kind has been given by the government or administration here. NGT has banned diesel vehicles which are more than 10 years old and petrol vehicles which are 15 years old in Delhi. To save these vehicles from becoming junk, the Delhi government has given the option of obtaining NOC for retro fitment and registration of vehicles in other cities of the country. In cities where these vehicles are not banned, old vehicles can be re-registered.
