It is believed that the person who set the scooter on fire was unhappy with both the performance and range of the scooter. At the same time, in another case, a man from Maharashtra drove his OLA electric scooter with a donkey.
Scooter stopped after walking 44Km
The man who set the OLA scooter on fire in Tamil Nadu is Dr. Prithviraj. This electric scooter was delivered to him about 3 months ago. He had to face problems with the scooter from the beginning. He had complained about this many times to the company as well. Ola Support looked at the scooter but did not find any problem. Prithviraj says that his scooter stopped working after walking 44 kms. Angered by this, he poured petrol on the scooter and set it on fire. The incident took place near Ambur bypass road in Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, a man from Maharashtra got upset with this scooter and drove it with a donkey.

Ola recalls 1441 scooters
Ola is recalling its 1441 scooter in view of the incidents of fire in the electric scooter. The company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal gave this information. On the incident of fire in Ola scooter in Pune on March 26, he said that the investigation of this incident is still on. Preliminary investigation revealed that it was a different kind of case. The company said that we are taking back 1441 scooters to check the scooter’s battery and other components. The company said that the service engineers of the company will investigate these scooters. In this, battery systems, thermal systems as well as safety systems will also be checked.

Ola is preparing a cheap e-scooter
The company’s founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has told that the company will launch its cheap e-scooter by the end of this year. It will be part of the S1 series. Right now there are two models coming in this S1 and S1 Pro. The entire focus of the company is now on preparing this scooter. The starting price of Ola’s S1 scooter is Rs 99,999. At the same time, the price of S1 Pro is Rs 1.29 lakh. These prices are in line with FAME II subsidy. The company is offering smaller battery in Ola S1 and bigger battery in S1 Pro. The performance and features of the S1 Pro are also higher than that of the S1. The S1 Pro has a range of 135km and the S1’s is 121km. The top speed of the S1 is 90kph and that of the S1 Pro is 115kph.
