Mercedes-Benz India has started rolling out the C-Class from its factory in Chakan, Pune. The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be launched in India on May 10. The C-Class, affectionately called the ‘Baby S’, will be available in 3 variants – C 200, C200d and the top-end C300d. The C-Class was first launched in India in 2001 and today there are over 37,000 C-Classes on Indian roads.
Pre booking continues in 50000 bookings
The company has also opened pre-bookings for the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class for Mercedes-Benz customers between April 13-30. Booking for others will start from 1st May 2022. The booking amount of the car is 50,000. The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class will also be available digitally across its franchise partner network and the Mercedes-Benz India online store.
Martin Schwenk, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India had earlier announced the opening of bookings for this vehicle and said that a big car coming for us is the new C-Class, which we will launch on 10th May and many more. Customers are really eagerly waiting for this new model.
Martin Schwenk had said that the C-Class is an important model for Mercedes-Benz not only in India but globally, with over 10 million units sold so far. He said, “We have sold around 37,000 cars of this model in India, which is a huge number for us.
