Honda Motorcycle & Scooter is planning to launch several of its electric two-wheeler models in India. The company plans to make its Manesar plant a global center for exports. The company also plans to launch the new bike in the entry-level 100 cc motorcycle segment.

Company will launch cheap motorcycle
The company’s Managing Director, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atsushi Ogata said that Honda will further expand its footprint in India. With the company taking forward the business of new models in the domestic market, the company plans to launch affordable motorcycles as well. At present, HMSI exports its two-wheelers to 40 countries.
Yadvinder Singh Guleria, director (sales and marketing), HMSI, said that the supply chain issues still persist. The industry is also facing a rise in commodity and fuel prices. But we expect improvement over last year.
