Yamaha has unveiled its flagship 155cc supersport motorcycle, the Yamaha R15M. The new 2022 MT-15 version 2.0 and the new World GP 60th anniversary edition have been launched. The price of the new Yamaha R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition is Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new version has been associated with Yamaha’s flagship line of motorcycle road racing since 1961. Yamaha said the new edition pays tribute to Yamaha’s passion for racing and honors the challenging spirit of Yamaha riders over the past 60 years.
The new Yamaha R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition is offered in the iconic White and Red ‘Speed Block’ color scheme, which includes gold alloy wheels, Yamaha factory race-bike gold tuning fork emblem, black levers and special commemorative badging on the fuel. tank
The Yamaha R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition is powered by a 155cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve engine. This engine produces 18.4PS at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. The fuel injected engine with VVA is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. In terms of features, the bike gets traction control system, quick-shifter for smooth clutchless upshift, golden upside-down front forks, Bluetooth connectivity, LCD instrument cluster with gear shift indicator, track and street modes etc.
The motorcycle also offers a toggle button on the right handlebar, an A&S clutch, bypass type thermostat cooling system, 3-stage expansion room with muffler, delta box frame, linked-type monocross rear suspension and dual-channel ABS.
