People troubled by the rising prices of petrol and diesel are going to get another setback from April 1. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has decided to increase the toll tax from Friday i.e. April 1, 2022. On behalf of NHAI, it has been decided to increase the toll tax by Rs 10 on light vehicles and Rs 65 on heavy vehicles. Let us tell you, in every financial year, the toll tax check is revised by NHAI.

NHAI project director N N Giri says that for the financial year 2022-23, an additional Rs 10 will have to be paid for a one-way journey of car and jeep on the highway connecting Delhi. The maximum price jump has been done in heavy vehicles. Now they will have to pay Rs 65 more for going one way. In the new financial year, you will also have to pay 10% more toll tax on Delhi Meerut Expressway.
If your car passes through Kherki Daula Toll Plaza on Delhi Jaipur Highway, then you will have to pay 14% more money from April 1. That is, now you have to spend more money to roam the pink city. 9% more interest will be charged on Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway.
