Motilal Oswal Financial Services has analyzed the state-wise data and said that between April-November 2021, the average monthly collection of 28 states of the country was about 12,500 crores, which is a little work from the pre-pandemic average figure of 12800, whereas these figures This average is Rs 1900 crore more than the last financial year 2020-21. The average monthly collection last year has been around Rs 10,600 crore.
According to the report, Maharashtra has collected the highest stamp duty and registration fee of Rs 17,097 crore in the last 8 months, which is 17% more than last year. After this, Uttar Pradesh has Rs.12800 crores, Tamil Nadu has Rs.8700 crores, Karnataka has Rs.8400 crores.
If we talk about the last financial year 2020-21, Maharashtra’s collection during this period is Rs 25,427 crore or 19.9 percent, Uttar Pradesh’s Rs 16,475 crore or 12.9 percent, Tamil Nadu’s Rs 11,675 crore or 9.1 percent, Karnataka’s Rs 10,576 crore or 8.3 percent. per cent, Telangana Rs 5,243 crore, Gujarat Rs 7,390 crore or 5.8 per cent and Haryana Rs 5,157 crore or 4 per cent.
In the financial year 21, Madhya Pradesh collected 6760 crores and 5.3% of the national collection. Bengal collected Rs 5,527 crore or 4.3 per cent, Andhra Pradesh Rs 5,603 crore or 4.4 per cent, Rajasthan Rs 5,297 crore or 4.1 per cent, Bihar Rs 4,206 crore or 3.3 per cent and Kerala 3,489 crore or 2.7 per cent, while the rest of the states together collected 3000 crore or 3% of the total national average.
Nikhil Gupta, Chief Economist of the brokerage house, says that the real estate sector, which started booming since the second half of FY 2021, has continued till FY 2022. The sector is expected to remain strong in the future as well.
