Domestic airline IndiGo has been at the forefront of timely flight operations (OTP) across the country’s four major airports in the month of February. This information has been received from the data released by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
According to DGCA, the company’s on-time flights during this period stood at 95.4 per cent. On the other hand, GoFirst came second with an OTP of 94.1 percent.

The DGCA said in the data released on Monday that IndiGo had the best performance at Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai airports. According to DGCA, GoFirst’s OTP was the best at these four airports with 94.5 percent in January 2022. During this period, Indigo stood second with 93.9 percent.

IndiGo spokesperson told PTI, “Despite the challenging situation, we are happy about the best performance in terms of on-time flights. We have been able to reach OTP at 95.4 per cent in February 2022 from 93.5 per cent in 2021 on an annualized monthly average basis.
Apart from this, OTP of Vistara, SpiceJet, Air India, AirAsia India and Alliance Air stood at 90.9 percent, 90.9 percent, 89.8 percent, 88.5 percent and 88.5 percent respectively in February 2022.
