Areas such as semiconductor, energy and waste management are leading this growth, inspired by global net-gear emission goals.
Bengaluru, Delhi and Pune have emerged as a major centers for these roles.
Inspired by renewable energy, EV and green hydrogen initiatives, an increase of 11 percent in the demand for green job is estimated in 2025.

Foundate Chief Revenue and Development Officer Prannoy Kale said, “India’s job market is growing at a strong pace, in which recruitment in major industries is rising. The report said that in January 2025, the recruitment recorded an annual increase of 32 percent, indicating renewed confidence in the market.
Bengaluru leads the Green Job Market, which alone offers 23 percent opportunities. After this, Delhi NCR is second with 17 percent.
Pune and Mumbai contribute 14–14 percent, while Chennai, Jaipur and Hyderabad also play an important role in the region.
