Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav giving information about the cabinet decision in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The Union Cabinet on Wednesday gave great relief to sugarcane farmers. Speaking on the decisions of the Union Cabinet, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the proper and beneficial price (FRP) of sugarcane for the Chinese season 2025-26 has been fixed at Rs 355 per quintal. This is a benchmark value, so that it cannot be purchased below. The Union Minister said that there is an adjustment of a 0.10 percent on top of it and if the recovery is less than 10.20 percent when the bottom is 0.10 percent, then it has an adjustment.
