Two new scooters are going to be entered in the country’s electric two wheeler segment, which is going to be launched by electric two wheeler makers Okinawa and Komaki.
The scooter that Okinawa is about to launch has been named Ockhi 90 and the company will launch it on March 24.
The electric scooter that Komaki is about to launch is named DT 3000 and the company will launch it on March 25.
Okinawa had released the teaser of its Ockhi 90 scooter before the launch, in which the information about the design and specification of this scooter is found to a great extent.
The Ockhi 90 has been made by the company in a larger design than its existing scooter range, which will see large 16-inch alloy wheels.
Also, the company is expected to provide hi-tech features in this electric scooter, which can include features like Bluetooth connectivity, app-based features, navigation, find maid vehicle.
According to the information received from the company, the company has given a lithium-ion battery pack in this scooter, which once fully charged, this scooter will give a range of up to 150 km and with it will get a top speed of 80 km per hour.
The company has not made any announcement about the price of the scooter yet, but keeping in mind the features and range of the scooter, the company can launch it in the market with an initial price of Rs 1.5 lakh.

Electric two wheeler maker Komaki is about to launch its DT 3000 electric scooter, which will be the company’s third high speed and long range scooter.

According to media reports, in this DT 3000, the company has given a lithium-ion battery pack, which once fully charged, it can be run for 220 kilometers.
The Lithium Ion battery used by the company in Komaki DT 3000 is 62 V, 52AH capacity with 3000 Watt power motor which will be based on BLDC technology.
No official announcement has been made by the company regarding the price of Komaki DT 3000 but according to experts, the company can launch this scooter with a starting price of Rs 1,15,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
