Petrol-Diesel Price Hike, stable for the last four months, has now started increasing continuously. Petrol and diesel prices have increased for the fourth time in the last five days. Oil companies have increased the price of petrol and diesel by 80 paise per liter on Saturday. Petrol and diesel prices have increased by Rs 3.20 per liter in the last five days. Before the assembly elections, petrol and diesel prices were stable for four months. At the same time, on Friday, Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister of UP, the next day i.e. on Saturday also, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by 80 paise per liter.
After the increase on Saturday, petrol is being sold at Rs 98.61 per liter in the country’s capital Delhi while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.87 per liter. Earlier, on 22, 23 and 25 March also, oil companies had increased the price of petrol and diesel by 80-80 paise. On March 24, there was no increase in the price of petrol and diesel. Apart from petrol and diesel, the prices of LPG, CNG and PNG have also increased since March 22.
Oil prices started rising as soon as the elections were over
The process of increasing oil prices, which started as soon as the elections were over in 5 states, continued on Saturday as well. Prior to this, oil prices were stable for 137 days. According to experts, the prices of petrol and diesel may increase for several days in a row. With the rise in oil prices, the burden on the common man’s pocket has started increasing once again.
