Shares of most of the stock market companies fell on Thursday
Share Market Closing 28th November, 2024: There was an outcry in the Indian stock market today due to the terrible fall. On Thursday, BSE Sensex closed at 79,043.74 points with a fall of 1190.34 points, while on the other hand, NSE’s Nifty 50 index also closed at 23,914.15 points with a fall of 360.75 points. Today, Sensex started trading in the green mark, while on the other hand, Nifty started trading in the red mark with a slight decline. Let us tell you that a good recovery was seen in the market on Wednesday. Yesterday, Sensex closed at 80,234.08 points with a gain of 230.02 points and Nifty closed at 24,274.90 points with a gain of 80.40 points.
Only SBI shares closed trading in the green.
Today’s decline can be gauged from the fact that shares of 29 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the red with a decline, while the shares of only one company closed in the green with an increase. Similarly, shares of 46 out of 50 companies of Nifty 50 closed in the red with losses and shares of only 4 companies closed in the green with a rise. Only shares of State Bank of India, included in the Sensex companies, closed in the green with a gain of 0.80 percent.
Terrible decline in Mahindra & Mahindra shares
Among the Sensex companies, shares of Mahindra & Mahindra recorded the biggest decline of 3.36 percent today. Infosys shares 3.28 percent, HCL Tech 2.45 percent, Adani Ports 2.43 percent, Bajaj Finance 2.41 percent, Tech Mahindra 2.28 percent, Titan 2.03 percent, TCS 1.78 percent, Reliance Industries 1.54 percent, PowerGrid 1.30 percent, Axis Bank 1.29 percent, Nestle India 1.23 percent, Shares of Asian Paints closed down by 1.13 percent, JSW Steel by 1.12 percent, ICICI Bank by 1.10 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank by 1.09 percent.
Shares of these companies also ended today’s business with losses
Shares of Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank and NTPC fell by 1.08 per cent. Apart from these, shares of Larsen & Toubro, Bharti Airtel, Maruti Suzuki, Hindustan Unilever, IndusInd Bank, UltraTech Cement, Sun Pharma, Tata Steel, Tata Motors and ITC also closed with a decline.
