Especially in the trains going to UP-Bihar, there is a lot of crowd, because a large number of people leave for their homes to participate in festivals like Diwali, Bhai Dooj and Chhath Puja, due to which Huge crowd is seen in trains. Not only this, recently a stampede situation had arisen due to crowd at Chhapra railway station, which even the RPF officers had failed to stop. After this the situation was somehow rectified.
On the other hand, all the preparations have been made to manage the crowd at railway stations during the festive season, which have also been put on the ground, but the crowd is still seen getting out of control at many places. At present, such a decision has been taken only by Northern Railways, but now it is believed that such a decision can be taken by other Railways also.
