RBI will soon release new notes of 20 rupees
The Reserve Bank of India will soon issue new notes of 20 rupees. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has said that the bank will soon issue a 20 rupee bank note in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) series, which will be signed by Governor Sanjay Malhotra. The design of these notes is similar to the 20 rupee bank notes of Mahatma Gandhi (new) series. All bank notes of Rs 20 issued by the Reserve Bank in the past will remain valid currency.

The design of these notes is the same as 20 rupee bank notes of Mahatma Gandhi (new) series. This means that the new note will be similar to the old note and the old notes will also remain unchanged in the trend.
Old notes of 20 rupees will be valid
The RBI has clearly stated that all the 20 rupee notes issued earlier would be valid for transactions. Whether they are signed by any governor. Issuing new notes with the new governor’s signature is a common process, which occurs after a change in the top leadership of the RBI and the change of new notes has no effect on the utility or value of old notes.
