Tata Starbucks on Wednesday said it plans to open eight new airports across six cities to expand its network in the country.
Tata Starbucks, a 50-50 joint venture between Tata Consumer and Starbucks Corporation, said in a statement that the new stores will be opened in Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Goa, Guwahati, Jaipur and Lucknow.
Tata Starbucks Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sushant Das said, “We entered six new markets between December and January, which was the biggest expansion exercise. Now eight new stores will be opened at the airports in line with our commitment to grow our brand and business in India.”
Tata Starbucks currently has 258 stores across 26 cities in the country.
