New Delhi. Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy spoke openly on many issues in a podcast interview. He gave this interview to Mohandas Pai, former CFO of Infosys. In which he gave great suggestions to the youth of India. Narayana Murthy bluntly said that if we have to overtake the economies of western countries, our youth will have to come forward for this. We cannot completely depend on the government, but our youth will also have to come forward for this. He advised the youth to work 12 hours a day for the progress of the country. Let us tell you, at present there is a culture of working for 8 hours in all the companies in the country, but now the co-founder of Infosys has come forward and suggested the youth of the country to work for 12 hours a day. Let it be known that during the Second World War, the Germans and the Japanese had started the tradition of working 12 hours a day in order to get their country out of the economic crisis. It was the result of that tradition that despite facing the horrors of war, both these countries had set a new record in the path of success.
He further said that India’s productivity rate is low. If we want to defeat countries like China and America, then for this the youth of our country will also have to come forward. They will have to leave their jobs and follow the path of becoming entrepreneurs. There is a dearth of successful entrepreneurs in our country. To overcome this shortage, many schemes were launched by the government. He further said that only when we work 70 hours, we will be able to compete with developed countries. Apart from work productivity, we also have to eliminate corruption. Corruption is also becoming a big obstacle in the development of the country. At the same time, if we have to compete with progressive countries, we will have to reform our bureaucracy. Bureaucrats should not make any kind of delay in doing any work, because the delay caused by them has a direct impact on the development of the country.
Narayan Murthy further said that after 75 years of independence, the country has received some honors from the Rashtra Samiti. It is the responsibility of every Indian to strengthen this respect. He said that today China is a big example for all of us in terms of productivity. China has set a big record in terms of productivity. The youth there work more than us. Therefore, if our youth also work more, we can overtake these countries.
At the same time, Narayan Murthy also narrated an old anecdote. Through this old story, he told how technology has made our lives easier. He said that once he needed flour to reduce diabetes, his cook immediately went to Amazon and booked the flour and in the blink of an eye the flour was delivered to his home. The cook knew the amount of flour I needed. After this process was over, I went into deep thought and started thinking how much technology has made our lives easier. Earlier we had to go long distances to get any item, but today we can easily get anything through technology. Truly, technology has completely changed our lives. At the same time, in today’s current scenario, we cannot even imagine our life without technology. Anyway, this entire podcast interview has been given by Narayan Murthy, who is in the news right now.
