Veteran investor Dolly Khanna has bought 10 lakh shares of Chennai Petroleum Corporation. Dolly Khanna has bought these shares of Chennai Petroleum in a bulk deal. In a report by Economic Times, this has been said by quoting NSE data. However, now it is not clear who has sold these shares of the company to Dolly Khanna. The deal was done at Rs 263.15 per share. The total value of this deal has been Rs 26.31 crore. Shares of Chennai Petroleum Corporation have gained over 17 per cent in the last 5 days. The company’s shares closed at Rs 279.55 on the National Stock Exchange on Friday.
Returns of more than 170 percent so far this year
Shares of Chennai Petroleum Corporation have given returns of over 170 per cent so far this year. This year on January 3, 2022, the shares of the company were at the level of Rs 103.30 on the National Stock Exchange. The shares of the company have closed at Rs 279.55 on 29 April 2022. If a person had invested Rs 1 lakh in the shares of the company earlier this year and had retained his investment, the money would have been Rs 2.70 lakh at present.

In the last eight quarters, Dolly was not named among the major shareholders of these companies. Dolly Khanna also increased her stake in Prakash Pipes from 1.4 per cent to 2.4 per cent in the March quarter.
