Telecom company Vodafone-Idea (Vi) on Thursday announced that its board has approved issuance of equity and raising funds from promoters, promoter group. Vodafone-Idea will issue shares at an issue price of Rs 13.30 per share (including premium of Rs 3.30 per share). The company will raise around Rs 4500 crore. Shares of Vodafone-Idea closed at Rs 9.68, down 1.53 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Equity shares have been allotted to three promoters
Vodafone-Idea said in the exchange filing, “The Board of Directors of the company has considered the allotment of 3,38,34,58,645 equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 at an issue price of Rs 13.30 per share for cash and its Approved. Its value is around Rs 4,500 crore. The company has said that it has allotted equity shares to three promoters. 1966635,338 are allotted to Euro Pacific Securities on a preferential basis. At the same time, 570958646 equity shares have been allotted to Prime Metals and 84,58,64,661 shares to Oriana Investments.

Increased paid-up equity share capital of the company
The Shareholders of the Company have approved the Issues by special resolution in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on 26 March 2022. The company has said that after this allotment of equity shares, Vodafone-Idea’s paid-up equity share capital has increased to Rs 3,21,18,84,78,850, with a face value of Rs 10, Rs 32,11,88,47,885. Shares are included.
