Bihar Public Service Commission will conduct the 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination in single shift on May 08 from 12 noon to 2 pm. A total of 15020 candidates will appear in the examination conducted at a total of 18 examination centers in the district. DM Arvind Kumar Verma and Superintendent of Police Yogendra Kumar in Kargil Vijay Bhawan gave instructions to the officers and central superintendents to conduct the examination in a peaceful and malpractice free environment. Officer duo said that this examination is a very prestigious examination for the state. Therefore, it is the full responsibility of the district administration to conduct the examination in a clean, malpractice and peaceful manner. In this sequence, he also gave necessary instructions to all the police officers with regard to conducting the examination in a malpractice-free manner while discharging their respective duties and responsibilities seriously. He asked all the concerned officers to take the work of freeskiing of the examinees seriously and ensure the strict compliance of Section-144, applicable around the examination centers till the examination period. The shops, especially those related to stationery and photocopy, should be kept closed for sure around the examination centres. in order to eliminate any possibility of malpractice.
There will be a ban on carrying mobile
He also directed to ensure that mobile phones are not kept in the examination hall under any circumstances. He said that Bihar Examination Control Act-1981 is applicable in the examinations of Bihar Public Service Commission. According to the provisions contained in the section of this Act, if the Central Superintendent and Inspector are found to be involved in misconduct, legal action can be taken against them. No candidate will be allowed to carry electronic material like calculator, mobile, bluetooth, Wi-Fi gadget, electronic pen, electronic watch, pager etc. and material like whitener, eraser and blade in the examination hall.
Digital photography and videography will be arranged
Digital photography and videography will be arranged at each examination center to prevent impression. Instructions were also given to do videography during freeskiing. All the deputed Static Magistrates, Observers and Police Officers along with the Armed Forces were directed to reach their designated places by 10 am onwards. In view of the number of candidates appearing in the examination, necessary action should be taken to ensure traffic management. Instructions were also given to keep two ambulance teams ready to deal with the emergency medical situation. Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer and Sub-Divisional Police Officer will be in full charge of law and order at the examination centers. In this sequence, the Sub-Divisional Officer was instructed to ensure compliance by applying section 144 around the examination centers till the examination period on the occasion of examination. Along with this, the sub-divisional officers, sub-divisional police officers and patrol magistrates have also been instructed to ensure that there is no crowd around the examination centers under any circumstances. District control room has been set up for the exam day. The District Land Acquisition Officer has been deputed in its senior charge.
