UPHESC Assistant Professor Recruitment: Allahabad High Court has directed to add academic experience to the post of Assistant Professor in non-state colleges in the service of the colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Justice Siddhartha has given this order after listening to advocate Seemant Singh on the petition of Dr. Anoop Kumar Pandey. The court has directed to combine the educational experience obtained in two government colleges of Chhattisgarh in the service of the petitioner and give him all the benefits of promotion and salary increase.
Advocate Seemant Singh told the court that the petitioner has been appointed as Assistant Professor in Saket College, Ayodhya. Prior to this, he has served as Assistant Professor Physics in two government colleges of Chhattisgarh. On this basis the petitioner is entitled to get promotion and senior scale under the Career Advancement Scheme but the Director Higher Education has refused to give this benefit to the petitioner. Academic experience is not being added. The advocate said that according to the UGC regulation of 2018, the work done in the college of any state will be added to the service period of the college of other state. The counsel for the Directorate of Higher Education submitted that no such condition has been given in the UGC Regulations 2010 and the state government mandates. The counsel for the petitioner submitted that the UGC regulation of 2010 has been repealed by the regulation of 2018. The court has directed the petitioner to consider the service period rendered in other colleges as entitled to be added to the existing service.
