Maharashtra Common Entrance Test cell: The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) cell on Monday announced that the deadline for taking admission in medical courses will be April 28. However, admission to AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) courses will continue till May 10.
Let us inform, this step has come after the announcement of the admission cut-off date by the National Medical Commission (NMC) in the weekend. Maharashtra CET Cell said- “The Mop Up-2 round of AYUSH and similar courses is in progress and the last date of application is till April 28. Students who want to participate for the institute level round can get their admission by April 28. Will have to cancel. Let us tell you, after April 28, the admission cannot be canceled.
State CET CELL released a statement on Monday. It further states that the last date for admission to AYUSH and similar courses has been extended up to May 10, 2022.
Like every year, the admissions for Medical and Dental Admission in AYUSH and its related courses have started. An official of CET CELL said, “The extension for AYUSH courses has been done keeping in mind the delay in starting admission this year, so students have enough time to complete the process.”
Meanwhile, the state CET CELL has also announced to postpone the Five Year Law CET Exam this year. Let us tell you, this exam was scheduled to be held on June 10, the exam will now be held after a week as the date is clashing with the ongoing CBSE Term 2 exams.
