The exercise to increase PG seats in the skin department and blood transfusion medicine department of MLN Medical College has started. The National Medical Commission (NMC) team reached the Medical College on Tuesday. Dr. Jitendra Vachhani and Dr. Sudhir Bihwal Midhekar were in this. Five seats in blood transfusion and three seats in skin department will be increased. The team will submit its report to the NMC.
Medical College Principal SP Singh said that till now there was no seat in PG of these two departments of the college. With the increase of seats, studies related to skin diseases will start in Prayagraj and having a post graduate in it will open the doors of possibilities. He said that along with this, students would also get information about blood transfusion medicine at the local level. Patients in Prayagraj will get its benefit.
Earlier, students had to go out for post graduate level studies in both these subjects. For this he was compelled to turn to another medical college. There will be many benefits after starting studies at the local level.
