NEET UG 2022: National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to announce an update on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2022. NTA will release the notification on the official websites – nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.
NEET UG is an entrance exam conducted for admission to UG medical courses in the country. The mode of NEET UG exam is offline centre-based. NEET is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, BSc Nursing and Life Science courses.
Let us tell you, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has removed the upper age limit for those appearing in the NEET-Under Graduate 2022 exam. The upper age limit set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 2017 was 25 years for unreserved candidates and 30 years for reserved candidates.
In a notification, CBSE had said that “the upper age limit for NEET-UG is 25 years as on the date of examination, with a relaxation of five years for SC/ST/OBC category candidates.”

When will be the NEET 2022 exam
NEET 2022 is likely to be held in June or July. According to the discussions between the education and health ministries, NEET UG 2022 will be held between the third week of June to the first week of July.
The application process for NEET 2021 was divided into two phases. The candidates had to submit a set of information in the first stage before the exam, and the rest of the information in the second stage after the exam but before the result.
As per the NEET 2021 exam pattern, NEET will be conducted for 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry Science and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
Each of the three subjects will have two sections – A and B. While Section A will be compulsory and will have 35 questions, Section B will consist of 15 questions out of which candidates will have to answer only 10.
As per the NEET 2021 marking scheme, applicants will get four marks for each correct answer in NEET and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. However, no negative marking will be deducted for unattempted questions.
