The opposition parties demanded a solution to the Ukraine crisis and the education of Indian students who returned from there. Alerting the Center about the geo-political and economic implications, the parties said in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that the government should play its part in ending the war and restoring peace. The opposition members also demanded alternative arrangements for the completion of their courses, worrying about the future of Indian students who dropped out of Ukraine due to the war. Participating in the discussion, BJP MP Brijendra Singh said India’s stand on the Ukraine crisis has been “consistent” and rescued Indian students trapped there, he said. The campaign was very successful. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government should be appreciated for this. He said that in the Ukraine crisis, the government issued advisories in time and evacuated more than 22 thousand students from an unexpected situation.
