Punjab Board 8th Result 2022: The Punjab School Education Board has declared the class 8th results on Thursday, June 2. Candidates can check their result through the official website pseb.ac.in. The detailed marksheet and result of the board exam will be uploaded on Friday at 10 am.
This time a total of 98.25 percent students have passed in class 8th. Out of a total of 3,07,942 students, 3,02,558 have passed in this examination. This time the girls have won again. Girls have secured a pass percentage of 98.70 percent, while boys have passed 97.86 percent. At the same time, the pass percentage of transgender students appeared in this exam is 100%.
This year Manpreet Singh has secured first position in the state. A student of Government Middle School in Barnala’s Gumti village has scored 600 out of 600 marks. The second position was secured by Himani of Hoshiarpur, who scored 596 out of 600 marks. Karmanpreet Kaur of Amritsar has secured the third position with 596 marks out of 600.
As per the merit list, Pathankot district tops the state with 99.36 per cent, followed by Kapurthala with 99.16 per cent and Hoshiarpur with 99.02 per cent. Sangrur district stood last by securing 96.76 per cent.
