Rajasthan Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Tikaram Julie said in the Vidhan Sabha today that March 31 is the last date for inviting online applications for scholarship schemes. Minister Julie, in response to a supplementary question asked in this regard during the Question Hour, said that if anyone has been deprived of applying, then they can apply by the stipulated date. He said that under the Chief Minister Sarvajan Higher Education Scholarship Scheme, scholarships are given to the students studying in higher education.
No application has been made in this scheme in Shergarh assembly constituency. Earlier, in a written reply to the original question of MLA Meena Kanwar, Julie told that the pending applications under the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Extremely Backward Classes, Dr. Ambedkar Economic Backward Classes North Matric Scholarship and Chief Minister Sarvajan Higher Education Scholarship Scheme run by the department. Out of the letters, the application forms of the eligible students are accepted and payment is being made as per the rules. He said that the last date for inviting online applications in the above scholarship schemes for the year 2021-22 is 31 March 2022. He said that due to limited financial resources under the Other Backward Classes Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, it is not possible to pay the pending applications for the year 2020-21 in the current financial year 2021-22.
