After the evaluation of the copies of the UP Board, the Board of Secondary Education is proving to be laggy in paying the remuneration of the examiners. 32 lakh outstanding dues of teachers in the district. Almost many times the demand for payment of remuneration was also made on behalf of the teacher unions, but the payment was not made for three years.
Every year the copies are evaluated after the board examination, only in the last year i.e. 2021 due to the corona epidemic, neither the board examinations nor the evaluation of the copies were done. Earlier, in the year 2019 and 2020, the copies of UP Board were evaluated, but the board is not showing any interest in making the payment. According to the District School Inspector’s office, 15 lakh 85 thousand rupees in the year 2019 and 17 lakh 60 thousand rupees for the year 2020 are due for evaluation work. For payment of remuneration for evaluation of copies, the board has been informed several times through the day office itself, but till now the budget has not been released by the board for payment of dues. In this matter, many times the officials of the teachers union have also informed the district school inspector and the higher officials of the education department. But no sensitivity is being shown on behalf of the board in the name of payment of remuneration. Due to this, anger is also being seen among the teachers.
Arun Singh, District President of the Secondary Teachers Association, says that the non-payment of the evaluation of the copies of the board checked during the last three years shows the mentality of the government. Whereas the remuneration should be paid on priority basis. At the same time, DIOS Praveen Kumar Mishra said that a demand letter has been sent to the Board of Secondary Education for payment of remuneration arrears for evaluation of answer sheets. Money is likely to come soon.
