Sharing the famous Agra breakfast on his Instagram stories, the actor wrote in the caption, ‘Agra ka breakfast.’ The breakfast picture shared by Anupam Kher shows Behai Kachori, Aloo Sabzi and Jalebi. He also shared a video on his story in which the famous sweets of Agra are seen. Urad ki dal – one cup
Wheat flour – one cup
Semolina – one cup
Refined (for moyan) – 3 tsp
Fenugreek seeds
Whole fennel – one teaspoon
Asafoetida – a pinch
Red chili powder – quarter teaspoon
Coriander powder – tsp
Garam masala – tsp
salt – as per taste
Refined or Ghee – for frying
Method of making fetters
Step-1. Keep the dal to soak for about 5-6 hours.
Step-2. After that grind it coarsely.
Step-3. In a large bowl, put the flour, semolina and ground lentils together and mix it well.
Step-4. Now add coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, fennel, asafoetida, kasoori fenugreek and salt and moyan according to taste and knead it soft and keep it covered for 20 minutes.
Step-5. After this, make small balls of this dough and roll it like a puri and fry it in hot oil till it becomes golden brown.
Step-6. Serve the delicious Bedai hot with potato curry. Bake the batter and serve with vegetables.
Step-7. Putting a spoonful of curd on the vegetable makes it very tasty.
