When Bachchan Pandey was released, ‘The Kashmir Files’ was already doing tremendous collection and the audience was going to watch that film, it also affected the film. ‘Good movie but didn’t work’
‘Bachchan Pandey’ was released on 18 March. It is the English remake of the Tamil film Jigarthanda. While talking to the media, a reporter described the film as a box office success. On hearing this, Arshad Warsi stops them and says, ‘Don’t lie, it was not successful.’ He further said, ‘It was a good film but unfortunately it happened, some things move, some don’t. It was like a bad patch. There were many things that made her not that successful. It was a big film and it should have made a lot of money but it still hasn’t suffered and has covered its money.
When asked ‘does he think the film did not do well as it was not released on OTT platform?’ He said, he does not think this happened because of OTT.
