This can be gauged from the fact that once the actor had to give 37 retakes to shoot a kissing scene.
It is worth noting that Karthik had signed the film in the third year of his college days. During which he got the offer of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’. In which he had made a different identity with his 5-minute monologue, which is still standing. After which he appeared in ‘Akashvani’ and ‘Kaanchi: The Unbreakable’. However, here he appeared in a supporting role. In this film, Karthik had to give a kissing scene with lead actress Mishti. But after coming here, Karthik stayed for a few moments, because it was not easy for him. The reason behind this was that he did not know how to kiss. In such a situation, he had to give 37 full re-texts to complete this scene. After that, in the end, this scene was shot like this.
This was disclosed by Karthik himself during an interview. In which he told that the director of this film, Subhash Ghai, wanted a passionate kiss. I didn’t know how to kiss. The actor tells that he was about to ask him that sir please show me how to do this. He said, ‘I never imagined that the kissing scene would be such a big headache. We were behaving like lovers that day. In the end, Subhash ji was happy that he got what he wanted.
Apart from this, the actor also shared an anecdote from his first film. In which he told that due to which he became famous, he wanted to get him removed from the film. He felt that this monologue would spoil his career. Karthik says, when he read the monologue, director Luv Ranjan was asked to delete that scene. He thought that this would spoil his career, people would make fun of him. He told that he was surprised to see this monologue going viral on social media after the release of the film.
