Karan Johar’s film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was very much liked by the audience. Its songs are liked even today. Now Karan Johar has told a funny anecdote related to this film. This happened when Karan Johar was in Egypt and shooting for the film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. Then he had loose motions. Karan told that in Egypt, he was shooting for the song Sooraj Hua Maddham with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
Karan Johar while narrating the anecdote says, ‘We were shooting in Egypt. The film was ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. There was a location where there were only limestone structures for 100-100 km. There was no human. We were only It seemed that if there is paradise, then it is here. It was such a beautiful place. White sand, white limestone structure. That morning my stomach was upset. I started having loose motions. There was no tent. There was no sign of the bathroom. I thought what should I do? So I thought I’d go under some big limestone statue and do whatever I wanted to do. I left.’
Karan further said, ‘Because I can’t even stop. So I went and started. I heard a slight sound. So I turned and a Hollywood crew was coming to the same place to find the location. Then there were about 20 people from that other country. he looked at me. When his camera was about to go out, I turned and said that please, I am the director of this film, have some respect. Then they said – OK, do your work. He turned politely. Neither saw Shahrukh nor saw Kajol, Limestone blocks everything. He only saw my backyard. I have not been able to recover from that story till date.
