Known as the dream project of Ratan Tata, the chairman of the country’s leading industrialist Tata Group, the look of the Lakhtakia Tata Nano has now changed. Even though this car has been discontinued from the Indian road, Ratan Tata’s love for it has not diminished even a single bit. Ratan Tata, who once dreamed of riding the cheapest car (Lakhtakia Nano) in the country, could not stop himself from driving it when this small car came out in an electric avatar (Tata Nano Electric).
In fact, Tata Motors had stopped production of the regular model of its Tata Nano long back. But this car has been customized by Electra EV, the company that produces the powertrain for the company and has given it the form of Electric Nano. The exterior and design of the car is the same as the regular model but this car runs completely on battery power.

Electra EV shared a picture of the car on its official Linkedin profile, in which Ratan Tata and Shantanu Naidu are standing alongside. How is Tata Nano Electric:
The custom built Nano EV uses the 72V architecture which allows the design of the 140Km variant of the Tigor EV to be modified. So as to meet the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) certified range of up to 213 kms. For this the physical powertrain kit has not been disturbed in any way.

According to the information, Tata Nano EV is the same as a regular car and a total of 4 seats have been given in it, which can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 10 seconds. It has an estimated range of 160 km, in which the company has used super polymer lithium-ion battery. According to Tata Motors, “The Tata Nano EV offers the practicality of a real car, without compromising on providing an eco-friendly personal transport for the modern consumer.”
