New Delhi. After Saina, there is another film of Parineeti Chopra named Code Name: Tiranga. According to the name of this film, neither the tricolor is mentioned nor the film has been made keeping any code in the main center. Along with Parineeti Chopra, singer Hardy Sandhu has also worked in the film. But most of the screen presence has been of Parineeti Chopra. With Parineeti, another actor has been seen more in the film, whose name is Rajit Kapoor. Apart from this, Sharad Kelkar has got a fair amount of time on the screen in the film. Dibyendu Bhattacharya also appears occasionally in the film. The story and screenplay of this film has been written by Ribhu Das Gupta. Ribhu has also directed the film. Bhushan Kumar has produced the film. Code name Tiranga is the name of this film and from the name of the film itself it seems that it is a patriotic film but now how much patriotic temper is there in this film and this film has become delicious or tasteless when it is tempered. Will try to find out here.
What’s the Story
If we talk about the story of the film, then it has no head and legs. Yes, there is a core to the story. Now you must have been confused that the head is not the legs but the torso is. After all, what do you want to say? I also want to ask the makers of this story, what do you want to say? Because the story of the film only reveals that the girl i.e. Durga whose character is played by Parineeti. Durga is India’s spy and she is crossing a desert in the middle of the mountains in a wounded condition. She narrates her story in which she goes to Afghanistan and Turkey and kills many terrorists. During the war with terrorists, she also loses her special person whom she loves, whom she loses, it is better to know by watching the film. Along with the terrorists in the war, she also eliminates the leader of the terrorists i.e. Omer. The character of Omer is played by Sharad Kelkar. In this story, she also reveals with her team how the head of her team used to work closely with the terrorists. The film begins with the capture of a terrorist named Omar and ends with his life. Now in short, it is a story of catching a terrorist, which was earlier a country issue but becomes a growing personal issue of the story.
how is the story
The story of the film seems to be repeated. When you see Durga in the very first scene of the film, her look does not impress you. Yes, one thing affects you and that is action. Whatever action Durga has done in the film, be it fighting scenes, gun scenes, or car/bike scenes, all these get attention. Wherever there are action scenes, you watch the action of the film there. Action scenes have this quality that even if they are useless, people still watch them carefully. In the story, the film gives a sense of place and thrill where Durga goes to Omar’s fort as an Urdu teacher. That fort is laden with the security of terrorists from all four sides. No matter how, Durga escapes from those security, but she gets stuck very close to her mission, that moment connects you completely with the story and your eyes are left open seeing the action during that time.
It is shown at some places in the film that when Durga fires, the sound of a conch shell is played which symbolizes Durga’s power and victory. Parineeti’s action is good. Whenever Dibyendu has appeared on screen, he has done his job honestly.
The good has happened, let’s talk about the bad. The head and legs are missing from the story I told you earlier. The story goes straight to the action, it attracts attention due to the action, but the best story is not seen. If you look in the story, you will find only one and only a few dialogues. Durga’s action scenes are good but the acting doesn’t leave much impact. Even after casting an artist like Hardy Sandhu and creating a love angle between Parineeti and her, the film does not get that romance, that love, nor does the film fill with that much patriotism.
It seems there is a mission and there are more missions inside that mission. Just how to solve the same on paper. It settles down on paper. That’s why the story of this film seems far from realism because what is happening easily on paper is not really easy. Parineeti does everything easily but in reality everything is not easy. The action sequences of the film are well shot but the climax spoils everything.
By placing a gaming sequence at the end of the climax, the film has been made a children’s film. Apart from this, the climax fighting scene between Omer and Durga has also been ended very quickly. Overall, if you want to sit for a while and watch a light action movie for time pass, you can watch it. There is nothing memorable and amazing in the film. The story is also very simple and cliched. If we weigh at the level of the story, then the film appears weightless in terms of story at many places. You have a dialogue related to the film –
“The whole of India asks for its protection from Durga, you are also Durga”
