Sonakshi Sinha has denied the allegations against her by issuing an official statement today. In fact, in the last few days, it was being claimed in media reports that a case of cheating has been registered against actress Sonakshi Sinha. According to the complainant, Sonakshi was given Rs 28 lakh in advance for an event in Delhi where she was to be the chief guest. However, the actress did not attend the event and took an advance payment for it. The event’s organizer Pramod Sharma allegedly filed a complaint against the actress in 2019 after repeated attempts to extort money. It was also being said that the actress has been asked to appear in the Moradabad court in Uttar Pradesh next month.

Sonakshi Sinha has issued an official statement on Tuesday calling all these news fake. The actress says, “There are rumors of non-bailable warrants being issued against me in the media for a few days without any authorization verification. This is completely fictional and the work of a wicked person, who is trying to harass me. I request all the journalists and news correspondents not to publish this fake news because the person spreading rumors against me is doing all this just to gain publicity.

The actress further adds, ‘This man is trying to gain full publicity and is attacking my reputation by putting these malicious articles in the media, which I have made with great pride. Please don’t participate in this harassment orgy. The matter is sub judice in the Moradabad court and has been stayed by the Allahabad High Court.

Sonakshi says my legal team will take all necessary action against her for contempt of court. This will be my only comment till the Moradabad court gives its verdict on this matter, so please don’t approach me for this. I am at home and I can assure you that no warrant has been issued against me.
