New Delhi. The artist deserves respect in any field. But in this world that gives importance to money, they often do not get a place. If we talk about the TV world, then something similar is seen there too. Both the big screen and the small screen are an important part of the entertainment world. In today’s time people are starting to recognize the real art. If you have talent, then wherever you come from, people give you the same love. But despite this, it is often heard that Bollywood stars do not understand TV actors. This is the reason that there is a cold war going on in Bollywood and TV industry. TV stars say Bollywood discriminates against them. A recent example of this has been seen at the Cannes Film Festival. The festival was attended by all the stars of Bollywood and TV world, where once again Bollywood is being accused that TV stars were not given any value in the 75th Cannes edition. Confirming this allegation, TV actresses Haley Shah and Hina Khan, who attended the festival, have also given big statements.
Hina Khan, who arrived to flaunt her beauty on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival, says she faced discrimination. Hina told the media that “the Indian pavilion did not invite her.” Hina also alleged that Bollywood completely ignored her. He further explained how Bollywood has always been ignoring TV stars. Significantly, after leaving the TV world, actress Hina Khan, who became internationally recognized, started her journey in the year 2019 at the Cannes Film Festival. According to Hina, during that time the famous designers of Bollywood had flatly refused to design her dresses. Apart from this, a Bollywood editor also commented on Hina Khan’s Cannes debut. After which there was a lot of commotion. The editor had targeted Hina and said that ‘Cannes Film Festival has become Chandivali Studio’. Responding to this comment of the editor, Hina had issued a statement, in which she said that ‘this comment was heartbreaking. I felt very bad. There was no need for this lewd comment at all.’
Similarly, ‘Swaragini’ fame actress Helly Shah also spoke about the discrimination she faced in Cannes. Talking about her Cannes debut, Helly Shah told the media that, ‘I was ignored at Cannes because of my being a TV actress.’ He further said that ‘I had fixed a date with the dress designers about a month before it started, but when the time came, I was refused categorically. At that time no one helped me, and because of this I had to face a lot of difficulties.
