Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah has warned the government just before the Amarnath Yatra. He said that if something goes wrong in the Yatra, not only Jammu and Kashmir will have to bear the brunt, but the whole of India will have to bear it. Filmmaker Ashok Pandit has expressed displeasure over this statement of Abdullah.
Ashok Pandit has shared a video of Farooq Abdullah on his Twitter handle. In which he is questioned about the arrangements for Amarnath Yatra. On this they are seen saying that if there is even a single mistake, then the whole of India will have to suffer the consequences. Captioning his video, Ashok Pandit wrote, “This guy is threatening.”
Discussion also broke out on social media regarding this statement of Farooq Abdullah. A user named Manish wrote, “They are threatening openly, they need to be reined in.” Umesh Nagar wrote, “Their days are gone. Now no one is asking them.” Sanjay Rudram wrote, “There was peace in Kashmir for the days that Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti were under house arrest.”
Rahul Singh wrote, “It may also be that Amarnath’s lyrics have a plan somewhere else. Amarnath Yatra can be said only to distract attention. The government will always have to be ready.”
Shobha Ram Bharat wrote, “I don’t understand why such people are roaming outside. Who has mercy on them?” One user wrote, put such people in jail, the terrorist incident will stop. One handle commented, “Pandit ji is not threatening, he is telling that he has made preparations… He is also one of the roots of all the turmoil.”
Actually, Farooq Abdullah was asked by the journalist that some special arrangements should be made regarding Amarnath Yatra? To which he said, “Look, if Khuda na Khasta there is even a single disturbance, the result will not only be borne by Jammu and Kashmir, the whole of India will have to bear it. One has to be smart for that.”
When is Amarnath Yatra starting? After the removal of Article 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir, the Amarnath Yatra is going to start after a full three years. The Darbar of Amarnath is being opened for the devotees from June 30. Keeping in mind the security and other services, it is also being said that all the concrete arrangements will be made by the government. Devotees have started registering for Amarnath Darshan from April 11.
