Talking on death and life, Naseeruddin Shah said that I don’t think being obsessed about death is a good thing. That I don’t think death should be thought much. This is something that should not come to our mind. I definitely don’t do that. I have experienced the deaths of many close people, including my family, my parents. Also, some dear friends, especially the unexpected, the way Om (actor Om Puri) died, the way Farooq (Farooq Shaikh) died, these were terrible shocks to me. But it is not good to be infatuated with him. When I have to go I will leave. But as long as I am alive, I want to be alive.
