Mumbai: Filmmaker Boney Kapoor had recently announced ‘No Entry 2’. In this film, a completely new and fresh team is going to be seen in place of the old cast. This time, instead of brother Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan in the film, Boney Kapoor has cast his son Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. After the announcement of this film, Boney Kapoor said something in an interview, which led to discussions that all is not well between Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor.
Actually, Boney Kapoor had said during an interview that he was angry with Anil Kapoor for not taking him in the film. However, now Boney Kapoor has clarified that younger brother Anil Kapoor is not “angry” about him not being cast in the sequel of ‘No Entry 2’.
Boney Kapoor said- “I am surprised that when I said ‘Anil is angry with me’ the press made an issue of a light hearted humour. The fact is that the film I am making does not have Salman (Khan) or Anil in it, because both of them are very busy stars. So, instead of thinking of making it with them, I decided to make the sequel with the younger generation.”
He further said, ‘To think that any of them could be angry with me because they are not a part of the sequel of ‘No Entry’ is a completely absurd idea. The No Entry sequel might have needed him but he doesn’t need a sequel. This comment has clearly been said only in humor.”
Boney said that Anil is “a busy star” who is “at the top of his career.” He said, “I know that Anil has no dates for the next two years. However, since my comment has been taken seriously, I must clarify that I did not take this comment seriously even for a moment. If this comment has reached Anil in a wrong way, due to which he may get hurt, then I will talk to my brother and clarify it. We have both grown together in the film industry, been there for each other through difficult times and that will never change between us.”
Talking about the work front, Anil Kapoor will now be seen in his upcoming film ‘Subedar’ directed by Suresh Triveni. Apart from this, he was also in the news recently for his role in Ranbir Kapoor-Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Animal’ and Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter’.
