John Abraham’s film ‘Kabul Express’ released in the year 2006 was a tremendous hit. Many such things happened during the shooting of the film which John and the entire team of the film will hardly be able to forget. Recently, John Abraham recalled the time when he received threats from the Taliban in Afghanistan. The story of the film was about an Indian and an American journalist and an Afghan guide. John Abraham played the role of Indian journalist Suhail Khan in this film.

Recalling the time of shooting, John Abraham said, ‘There was no social media then. When I was leaving Afghanistan, the Afghan people told me – John, you will do anything but don’t say anything bad about Afghanistan. John Abraham said, ‘Today I want to say on record that Afghan people are the most beloved in the world.

From Rocket to Suicide Attack
John Abraham also recalled the incident when he was staying at the house of former Afghan President Mohammad Najibullah. He said, ‘It was a UN-approved hotel. I came to the terrace to have tea, and a rocket came from the front and hit the US consulate. There was another incident where a suicide bomber blew himself up 6 hours before we reached this hideout.
