The ongoing controversy regarding the film The Kashmir Files is not taking its name to stop. There are allegations of spreading propaganda on this film. Whereas the director of the film is saying that the film is based on facts. Since the release of this film, people are questioning the Congress government. Now Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given his reaction on this.
What did Bhupesh Baghel say on Kashmiri Pandits?: In a program of ABP News, when the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh was asked a question about Kashmir, he said that “Whatever happened in Kashmir, you showed it to other parties as a sign in the film, but you did not tell that at that time the Lt. Who was it, who was sitting in power at that time? VP Singh ji was in power, with the support of Atal and Advani ji. Jagmohan ji was the governor, he also did not stop the migration, did not talk about security.
“Not only Hindus migrated”: Bhupesh Baghel said that “Finally when Rajiv ji gheraoed the Lok Sabha and Parliament, the force was sent. Kashmiri Pandits were allowed to flee, nothing was done to stop them. There was not only migration of Kashmiri Pandits during that period. Buddhists, Sikhs and Muslims also migrated. They were also murdered.”
In response to the question, Bhupesh Baghel said that “the place of worship was not destroyed only for Hindus. Terrorism has no religion. Whether he belongs to any religion, if he is a terrorist, then it is not his religion. Responding to Bhupesh Baghel’s statement, filmmaker Ashok Pandit only said that “this is a sheer lie.”
People’s reactions: Sandeep Singh Chandel wrote that “Let it be Ashok ji. Anyway, the people of the nation are not trusting things like these. This is the reason why this plight of his party has happened. These will never improve.” Gagan Mishra wrote, “Hey, you don’t even know how to lie. It was a very long process and in this the entire role was played by the Congress party. Shame on you Bhupesh Baghel. At this age, so many lies don’t suit.”
Responding to Ashok Pandit’s tweet, Balmiki Choudhary wrote, “So you tell what is the truth? Wasn’t VP Singh’s government at the center with the support of the BJP at that time? The governor of that time is not in the BJP.” Ajay Kumar wrote that “If everything is a lie in the film then come on all TV channels and argue with Ashok Pandit and stop using media like this.”
A user named Kumar V wrote that Ashok Pandit ji, what lie did Baghel ji tell, tell him. What will happen if you just write a lie? It is true that neither Congress nor BJP has done anything for Kashmiri Hindus. He himself is saying that as much as he should have been done, he was not done.
