Hubli. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Karnataka on April 5 to launch several special programs for the development of the state. Bommai was interacting with reporters at the Hubli airport on Saturday.
He further said that Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit the state on April 1.
He said that Shah is keen to bring about major reforms in the cooperative sector and the state government is ready to start ‘Ksheera Abhivridhi Bank’.
Shah will launch the logo and Yashaswini program of ‘Ksheera Abhivardhi Bank’ during his visit. Bommai said that a mega conference is being organized as part of the launch programme, as it will give a big boost to the dairy sector.
Speaking about the cabinet expansion, he said the issue will have to be discussed with the top party officials in Delhi. “When the leadership calls me, I will go to Delhi,” he said.
