Meanwhile, Pankaj Tripathi, who was last seen in the horror-comedy film ‘Stree 2‘, has broken his silence for the first time on the success of the film. In this film, the veteran actor played the role of Rudra Bhaiya, for which he was highly praised. Soon after its release in 2024, Amar Kaushik’s film broke many box office records and became a big hit.
Pankaj Tripathi reacted on credit war
In an interview to Hindustan Times, ‘Stree 2’ fame Pankaj Tripathi said that it is a matter of great pleasure that such a low budget film became a blockbuster. While reacting on the credit war, he further said, ‘Success should not spoil your mind. There should be a pause.’ The actor further said that the joy the audience got after watching the first part forced people to come to the theater to watch the sequel in the first week itself. Otherwise, the audience waits for the review and then goes to watch the movie. But, this does not happen for good franchise films.

Pankaj Tripathi further said, ‘One does not need just one hit film to create a franchise. It is important for a film to be unique because many times a movie becomes a hit but is not unique. The woman fulfilled both the needs. This is the reason why the film got tremendous success at the box office. For those who don’t know, let us tell you that ‘Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Terror’ is written by Niren Bhatt and co-produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The fourth installment of Maddock Supernatural Universe also stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in lead roles. It has cameos by Tamannaah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar.
