Mumbai, July 12 (IANS)| Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal on Monday took to social media to announce that he will be working in a Gujarati film after 40 years. Titled ‘Dear Father’, the film is based on his successful play of the same name. Rawal tweeted, “Very excited. Going to do a Gujarati film after 40 years. It is based on my play ‘Dear Father’, which was a huge success. Ratan Jain ji (Venus) in this work Films) are with me. Need your love and blessings. The name of the film is ‘Dear Father’.”

Commenting on his tweet, fans have expressed their happiness and said that it would be great fun to watch him work in a Gujarati film. Fans who watched his play have also shared their experiences about it.
Meanwhile, Paresh Rawal is also waiting for the release of his next Bollywood film ‘Hungama 2’. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film also stars Shilpa Shetty, Meezaan Jaffrey and Pranitha Subhash. The film will release digitally on July 23.
