After the assassination of Rahul Bhatt in Kashmir, questions have started arising once again regarding the security of Kashmiri Pandits. Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah has given a statement after the assassination of Rahul Bhatt. Farooq Abdullah said that if each other has to come closer then this hatred will have to end.
Farooq Abdullah said, ‘I have said that this Kashmir Files film is being made to spread hatred. Is it true that a Muslim will kill a Hindu and ask his wife to eat rice stained with blood? Could this be? Are we so down? I said this film is baseless, it has created hatred. The atrocities being committed against Muslims are creating a wave among our youth.
Filmmaker Ashok Pandit has responded to Farooq Abdullah’s statement. Ashok Pandit wrote on Twitter that ‘Shame on you Farooq Abdullah, you have imposed the responsibility of the murder of Rahul Bhatt and the situation in Kashmir on the film Kashmir Files. You are of age, you should consult your son before speaking anything. You should answer who is responsible for creating, promoting, fostering terrorism in Kashmir?’
Sharing a video, Ashok Pandit said that ‘You are responsible for our carnage, you are responsible for the rape of our women. You did everything and you forgot? A film that exposed you so scared you? You were weak but you were so weak, didn’t expect it from you.
People are giving their reactions on this on social media. One user wrote that ‘Now the matter has spread in the village too, the people of the village have also been awakened. Now your end is certain.’ A user named Sangram wrote that ‘When Kashmir files were not made, then there was peace in Kashmir. Wow! Abdullah ji what a logic.
A user named Govind Singh wrote that ‘If you want to save Kashmiri Pandits, then ban the shops and their mouths of leaders like Mufti, Abdullah?’ A user named Usman wrote that ‘After watching the whole spectacle, it is being said that ban this spectacle now’. A user named Arvind Goyal wrote that ‘If there was sympathy in the heart, that terrible incident would not have happened with Kashmiri Hindus.’
