The station master unions of the Indian Railways have decided to go on strike on May 31 for collective demands, but it is not going to be so easy for the railway employees to go on strike. According to the information, a letter has been sent to the railway unions by many zonal railways of the country (which includes the name of North Central Railway) regarding this strike. In this, the Railways cited the rules of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) to the employees to say that the employees have the right to form a union, but this does not mean that it also gives them the right to go on strike.
It is worth noting that a few days ago, the Railway Station Master’s Association had announced a strike saying that for years they have been agitating against the railways for their demands, but the railways have not paid any attention to it, due to which they have now started 31 May have decided to go on strike. However, the office bearers of the Station Master’s Association had also said that the dates of the strike could also be changed.
The Railway Station Master’s Association says that they have told their problems and problems to the top officials many times and a memorandum has also been given for this, but the officials are not listening to them. At the same time, it was told that more than 35 thousand railway station masters will be on mass leave on this day.
After the announcement of the strike by the railway masters, the railway has also become alert and has instructed the vertical heads of all the zones. On May 31, it should be kept in mind that on May 31, the train operation should not be interrupted due to station masters.
Let us tell you, the station masters are demanding from the railways that the ceiling limit of night duty allowance should be removed from 43,600 and the order of recovery from the employees should also be withdrawn. Along with this, it was also demanded that the vacant posts of Railway Masters should be filled and security and stress allowance should be given to all.
