Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik has expressed his anger against the airlines on Twitter. He told that even after booking in advance somehow, the airlines gave his seat to another passenger. Following his tweet, the airlines apologized to the actor for the inconvenience.
Satish Kaushik wrote in his tweet, “Very sad that GoFirst Airways has to use wrong methods to earn money from passengers. My office has detected two people (Satish Kaushik/Ajay Rai) in the first line. Booked three seats for Paid 25K in G8 2315 from Mumbai-Dehradun on 23rd May. But alas, the middle seat was given to another passenger inspite of making advance payment by my office.
Mr Zubin, a member of GoFirst, tried to convince the other passenger that they would send him on the next flight, but he did not agree. After which I had to give that seat to him. Zubin and the air hostess thanked me. The air hostess told me that she would mail her airline office asking for an apology about this unfortunate mess on her behalf. Zubin told me that I will ask the office to return the money for your third seat.
It is very sad that @GoFirstairways has to use dubious ways to earn money from passengers. My office booked two seats (Satish Kaushik/Ajay Rai) in the first row with middle seat also and paid 25K in G8 2315 from Mum-Dehradun on 23rd June. But alas they sold the middle

“Is this right? Is this a way to make more money by harassing the passenger. It’s not about getting money back, but it’s about expressing your grievance. I could have stopped the flight, but to my goodness and after three hours of delay, I did not feel right to hold the passengers for more hours. Good luck. Go Firstairways
Following this, GoFirst Airways apologized for the apology and wrote, “Dear Satish, We thank you for contacting us and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. You will be helped soon from our side. ” On this post of Satish Kaushik, many users have also expressed their displeasure towards the airlines.
