‘The decision to extend the release date of Jersey is right’
‘Jersey’ was earlier scheduled to release on December 31 but was postponed in view of the third wave of Corona. Talking to the English website Pinkvilla, Shahid said, ‘Aman (Gill, producer) and I were keeping a close eye on Omicron (Corona variant). We knew it was growing very fast. Not expecting that things would change much in such a short span of time, we decided to postpone the release of the film. We did not want the film to come at a time when all is not well. We took the right decision to go ahead with the film.
