Singer Shreya Ghoshal has postponed her upcoming Mumbai concert in view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, which was scheduled to take place on 10 May. Although she was about to perform at the Jio World Garden in BKC, Mumbai as part of her All Hearts Tour, the singer announced that the concert would be postponed due to the current incidents going on in our beloved country. However, he said that this is just a postponement, not cancellation. The new date of his Mumbai concert will be announced soon. Shreya Ghoshal shared a statement on her Instagram account, which said, ‘My dear fans, with a heavy heart, I want to tell that my homecoming concept in Mumbai, which is part of the All Hearts Tour and was going to be held on 10 May 2025 in Jio World Garden, BKC, will be established due to the current events going on in our beloved country. This concert means a lot to me and I was eager to share a powerful evening with all of you. But as an artist and a citizen, I feel deeply responsible for standing in solidarity with the nation during this time.
The concert is not only postponded but not canceled
Shreya Ghoshal further said in her post, ‘I promise that this is not canceling, just a stay. We will soon meet again, more strong and united than ever. A new date will be announced very soon, and all the tickets purchased will be valid for the revised concert. Arijit Singh also posted his concert
Recently, Arijit Singh also extended the date of his upcoming live show in Abu Dhabi in view of the tense situation between India and Pakistan. On Thursday, Arijit’s team shared a note on their Instagram, in which they asked to pursue the May 9 show on the latter date. On 8 May, Pakistan launched a series of drone and missile attacks targeting Indian states including Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir. However, the Indian Army successfully stopped and neutralized them. On May 7, India carried out ‘accurate attacks’ under Operation Sindoor on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK after the Pahalgam terror attack on 7 May, killing 26 civilians.
