New Delhi. YouTube Ranveer Allahabadia is now relieved from the Supreme Court in the controversy case over India’s Got Latent Show. Ranveer requested the apex court to return his passport which was accepted. Justice Suryakant and Justice N. A bench of Kotishwar Singh has asked Ranveer Allahabadia to contact the Maharashtra Cyber Police Bureau to withdraw his passport. Earlier, the court was informed that the investigation of the FIR case registered against Ranveer Allahabadia in Assam and Maharashtra has been completed.
Ranveer Allahabadia, while asking a question to a contestant on the India’s Got Latent Show, had made a very stupid comment about the relationships of the parents, which had a dispute. An FIR was registered against Ranveer in Assam and Mumbai. Ranveer appealed to the Supreme Court to avoid arrest. The apex court had given relief to Ranveer from the arrest but also imposed some conditions under which the police had submitted his passport. In the earlier hearing, the court did not order Ranveer to be given his passport.
The bench had clearly stated that if the passport is issued, the investigation could be affected. The court had said that it would be reconsidered after the investigation against Ranveer Allahabadia was completed. Now that the investigation against Ranveer has been completed, the Supreme Court ordered his passport to be issued. Earlier, the Supreme Court had allowed Ranveer Allahabadia to re -telecast the ‘The Ranveer Show’ to be aired on his YouTube. However, the court had clarified that no kind of indecency and objectionable content should be used in the show.
